Thanksgiving break!

thanksgiving Turkey! so this year i wasnt able to go home for thanksgiving along with a few other of my friends from washington that are here at BYU so i decided to make us a thanksgiving dinner!

this was my beautiful 15 lb. turkey it was quite the experience preparing it ( and corine guess what?? i found the neck!)

everything turned out great! we had turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, salad, jello, rolls, corn, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and apple crisp

Carlie's birthday party!

she turned 19 and is a big fan of steve Nash of the arizona suns so i made her his jersey

so for halloween me and my roomies plus jaimie found some sweet ninja costumes at the costume store so naturally we all had to buy matching ninja suits (notice chandra jaimies roomate the cheerleader in the middle)

at the ward party!

we even won best costume award at the party and got to share a 10 dollar itunes card... between 7 people

you might notice some of the ninjas outfits are a little different that is because they ran out of ninja costumes so sadee and rebeckah had to buy "sexy ninja" costumes (the ones without sleeves.. so scandalous)

The other week Jaimie and I found a Winco foods in Orem so naturally we went on a food shopping spree! so as people starred at Jaimie and I giddy with joy jumping around the store making sure not to miss any great food deals I discovered that they had pizza dough! not just any pizza dough but the same kind I used to buy at the Winco back at home! I then bought some salami, cheese, broccoli and artichoke hearts for toppings and that night when we got home I invited some friends over and we had this tasty pizza! lets just say it was an over all good day!

weekend adventures

Last friday was date night! so me and my friend chris planned an eventful night of dinner then power tumbling

(for those who aren't familiar with power tumbling its a big gym with trampolines, spring floors, foam pits and a whole arrangement of fun stuff) so we raggled up some dates and had a really fun night!

After the date me and caitlin met up with shanna and some of her roommates to spend the night in front of Earth's Fruits yogurt in hopes of winning free frozen yogurt for a year... sadly cailin and I werent early enough to be the first 100 to recieve this treatment however we did get a 20 dollar gift card.. so I would say it was a success!

On saturday Me, Jillian (my neighbor) caitlin (my friend from back home) and alex (one of my roommates) went to the BYU women's soccer game it was way excited and we won 2-1! then as I was walking down the bleachers to leave I got a free BYU soccer T-shirt!

A few weeks before I left for BYU Me and Corine ordered some crocheted head bands.

labor day weekend!

Saturday morning my neighbor Jessie invited some people from our ward to go boating for her birthday it was really windy so the water was way choppy but that just made tubbing more exciting!

a few of us tried to go wake surfing, i couldn't get up but Austin and christen were able to do it really well because they had wake boarding experience but it was just as entertaining to watch!

GAME DAY! saturday was the game UW vs. BYU it was the first home game and it was crazy! you can see from the pictures that it was packed!
