so i realize most of this video is just of elli... but she was the most entertaining part of our trip. thanks to andrea and david as well as his family for accommodating us!

Birthday cake!

it was my roommate Sadee's 20th birthday on monday so on sunday night i took a break from my rigorous studying to make this cake sadee loves rock climbing and anything outdoorsy so i thought she would love a rock wall!

please ignore the dead flowers, tide and baco-bits on our dinner table.

for this I actually used rice crispy treats instead of cake to get the structure of the rock, and it actually worked really well, i made the rice crispy treats pressed them into a pan to let them cool then after 30 minutes I pulled them out and molded them into the rock shape, covered it with frosting and then fondant.

FESTIVAL OF COLORS

here are some pictures of me and my roomies at the festival of colors in spanish fork to give you the run down on what the festival of colors is, you pretty much just go to this hindu temple, sing and chant in a huge mosh pit to promote love for everyone, burn a wooden witch to symbolize burning the evil out of ourselves, and then throw chalk at each other so yeah its pretty fun.

In January i visitied my BYU-I friends and kinzi took me snowmobiling for the first time. It was loads of fun!

A Few weeks back I went on a Road trip to Mesa Arizona with some friends from the ward

- it was a 9 hour car ride so we had to keep ourselves entertained which explains this picture as Joanthan (middle) explained it, its called shake-a-face, its where you shake your face as fast as you can and then take a picture in the middle of it... i wasn't so sure about the whole idea at first...

last weekend our ward had an activity at the classic skating rink where me and my roomies + Porter decided to pull out our ninja costumes :)

Thanksgiving break!

thanksgiving Turkey! so this year i wasnt able to go home for thanksgiving along with a few other of my friends from washington that are here at BYU so i decided to make us a thanksgiving dinner!

this was my beautiful 15 lb. turkey it was quite the experience preparing it ( and corine guess what?? i found the neck!)

everything turned out great! we had turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, salad, jello, rolls, corn, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and apple crisp

Carlie's birthday party!

she turned 19 and is a big fan of steve Nash of the arizona suns so i made her his jersey

so for halloween me and my roomies plus jaimie found some sweet ninja costumes at the costume store so naturally we all had to buy matching ninja suits (notice chandra jaimies roomate the cheerleader in the middle)

at the ward party!

we even won best costume award at the party and got to share a 10 dollar itunes card... between 7 people

you might notice some of the ninjas outfits are a little different that is because they ran out of ninja costumes so sadee and rebeckah had to buy "sexy ninja" costumes (the ones without sleeves.. so scandalous)
